Prayer Bear Ministry
In order to reach people with the love of Jesus Christ, the Prayer Bear ministry exists to bring God’s love and comfort to those experiencing life transitions, illness, or grief.
What is a "prayer bear"? It’s a tangible gift of God's love for anyone who is in need.
Who's eligible? Anyone, it could be someone who is sick, someone going through a divorce or break-up, someone who is just lonely, or possibly someone who needs a pick-me-up. These bears are for men and women, boys and girls. Here's how you can help:
· Pray for the people who will be receiving the bears we bless. We are not sure who they are going to, but someone will receive one in a moment of need.
· Become a "Pray-er" for this ministry.
· Be on the lookout for people who need one of these bears. Just come to the south foyers of the church and pick up a bear.
