Toribio Gonzales
ODESSA — Toribio Lerma Gonzales, 67
years of age, passed away Thursday, Jan. 30, 2003, at Medical
Center Hospital after a long illness. He was born April 16, 1935,
in Big Wells, Texas, to Manuel and Maria Gonzales. He married
Felma Salazar January 19, 1960, in Pecos.
Mr Gonzales is survived by his wife, Felma of Odessa; sons, Amado
Gonzales and Pedro Gonzales, both of Odessa; daughter, Leticia
Gonzales and her husband, Kirby Newbanks, of Odessa; brothers,
Augustine Gonzales and Amado Gonzales, both of Odessa; sisters,
Cayetana Sauceda of Odessa, San Juana Ruiz of Odessa, Cecilia
Robledo of Portland, Tx, Ignacia Guerra of Sinton, Tx, and Manuela
Lira of Austin; granddaughters, Rita Gonzales and husband, Joey
Nava, and Natalie Tavarez; grandsons, David Gonzales and Alex
Gonzales. And his most faithful and loyal friend Tommy Gonzales.
Visitation will be Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. at
Odessa Funeral Home. Services have been set for Monday, Feb. 3,
2003, at 10 a.m. at the First Church of the Nazerene, located at
2223 Lyndale, with Reverend Terry Pierce officiating. Burial will
follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. Services by Odessa Funeral Home.
