Meinzer Family

 

Hoie Charles Meinzer         MAY 3, 2006

ODESSA Hoie Charles Meinzer, 89, of Odessa passed away Wednesday, May 3, 2006 at a local hospital.
He was born March 6, 1917 in Rotan, TX to Fernando and Lula Meinzer.
He was a long time employee of Gulf Refining Co. and a WWII Army veteran. He married Imogene Roberson on June 30, 1951 in Jal, N.M. He was an active and long time member of the First Church Of The Nazarene.
Mr. Meinzer was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Edith Meinzer and brothers, Arch, Bob, and Murl Meinzer.
He is survived by his wife, Imogene of Odessa, sons, Gary Meinzer and wife Paula of The Woodlands, Eugene Wilkerson and wife Sally of Carrollton, granddaughter, Lisa Preissler and husband Eric, grandsons, Derek Meinzer, Greg Meinzer and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Meinzer has left this earth to be with his Lord, and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, May 6, 2006 at the First Church Of The Nazarene with Rev. Terry Pierce officiating.
Graveside services will follow at the Kermit Cemetery in Kermit.
Services entrusted to Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
