Korkie Nunez
ODESSA — Memorial services for Korkie Nunez, 41, of Odessa
will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First Church of the
Nazarene with Pastor Terry Pierce officiating.
Services under direction of Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
Mrs. Nunez passed away Sunday, July 6, 2003, at her residence.
She was born February 2, 1962, in Odessa. She was a member of
the First Church of the Nazarene and graduated from Ector High
School.
Survivors include her son, Alex Nunez; mother, Eva Munoz; four
sisters, Liza Valenzuela and husband, David Luna, Ami Granado,
Delma and Sue; five brothers, Eloy, Larry, Rick, Arturo Jr.,
and Jesse; best friends, Lea Venegas and Julian Luna;
mother-in-law, Emelisa Rodriquez; four aunts; one uncle; three
Godchildren; various nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog,
“Mojo”, all of Odessa.
The family suggests memorials be made to the American Cancer
Society.
